About Us
SharedSource Pennsylvania
SharedSource PA is an initiative of the Pennsylvania Association for the Education of Young Children (PennAEYC) that brings Pennsylvania early childhood professionals cost-saving and time-saving tools, best practice resources and a shared commitment to quality improvement.
SharedSource Pennsylvania was developed in 2012 partnership with the Pennsylvania Association for the Education of Young Children (PennAEYC), First Up (formerly known as DVAEYC), Trying Together, (formerly known as PAEYC), and Public Health Management Corporation (PHMC). We are grateful to First Up and Trying together and PHMC for their support in the development phase of the website. This initiative was first developed through the generous support of the William Penn Foundation, the Heinz Endowments and CCA for Social Good.
Today, SharedSource PA is a function of PennAEYC's shared service work and continues to develop and build resources with support of ECE partners from across the Commonwealth. The shared service alliance promotes shared learning, efficient use of resources and quality improvement in ECE programs across the Commonwealth.
We are also grateful for our current sponsor, The Learning Lamp through their grant from Appalachian Regional Commission for their support and partnership. It is through their generous support we are able to offer the site resources free of charge to all Pennsylvania early care and education providers.
